HAPPY CLIENTS

Cindy - Teacher

“I look forward to attending each and every Pilates session with Bec, who seems to find endless ways to present exercises in a challenging and interesting way. All of the movements are explained thoroughly, and demonstrated where necessary. All of our questions are answered with kindness. Bec’s manner is encouraging and gentle; she seems to understand where each of us is at and what each of us needs on any given day. Feedback is always sensitive, positive and sincere. Movements are presented in a way which improves body awareness; we quickly move out of our brains and into a place where we respect our bodies and appreciate all that they do for us. The exercises do not leave us feeling exhausted, sore or bathed in perspiration; rather we feel positive, grounded and calm. We proceed through the carefully planned series of exercises in a steady way that does not leave any of us feeling rushed or inadequate.

Bec presents each exercise with optional add-ons and extra challenges, and understands that some days we feel like adding-on and other days not. Bec always includes some stretching for all the muscles which we have used; this is soothing and enjoyable.

Of course Pilates is good for us; the science and evidence-based research supports its ability to build core strength, agility, flexibility, balance and coordination. That’s what makes us begin a class. But it’s Bec and what she provides that makes us keep coming back to Pilates. Her warm and welcoming smile, her gentle nature and her belief in the value of what she is doing shows through in every session. I whole-heartedly recommend Bec’s Pilates teaching.”

Tim - Physiotherapist & Pain Specialist

“I have been doing Pilates with Bec for the last 2 years. I have found some great benefits from the classes including better flexibility, improved strength as well as decreased back pain. In my work as a physio I have many patients , including lots of men around my age, who struggle to move well and find simple tasks like getting up from the floor are hard to do. Pilates helps to improve strength and flexibility and makes these functional tasks easier to accomplish.”
